A TWO-WEEK ONLINE COURSE ON TUESDAYS, MAY 11 AND 18, 2027, 2-3 P.M. EDT
The AP Stylebook includes thousands of entries, but it can’t address everything that matters to you and your audience. Creating your own custom style guide captures the specific guidance that applies to your organization, region or specialty, and helps everyone in your group make consistent style choices.
In this two-week online course, you’ll learn how to set up your own house style, including navigating inevitable conflicts between how you should write something and how everyone does it in real life, researching and deciding on guidance that’s right for your audience, and staying up to date when language and culture evolve. Plus, you’ll determine how to socialize your style guide throughout the organization to establish its authority and avoid “that’s not what spellcheck says” arguments. Join us to set and customize your house style.
Each registration includes access to AP Stylebook Online, our searchable and customizable AP style resource.
Register now to begin your access to Stylebook Online and the online classroom’s extensive on-demand videos right away.
